Internet start-up accused of wrong doing, now other party apologized
Recently, innovative and unique internet start-up LinkMommy dot com disclosed milestone partnership with TopConnectorPro dot com which is adding the majority of its quarter million members to LinkMommy throughout 2010.
Shortly after article about this particular milestone partnership was announced, see full article by clicking here, out of a sudden LinkMommy dot com started receiving e-mails from opennetworker.com/toplinked.com accusing them that they were copycats of their service.
LinkMommy owners were outraged about these accusations, and emailed back several times requesting
Certainly, all requested information was never disclosed. However, on 1/25/2010, the following apology letter was received by LinkMommy. Author of the letter was a person by the name of Judith Miller, who supposedly runs so called Linkedin groups for opennetworker.com/toplinked.com. Letter reads as follows (sent through Linkedin internal mailing system): LinkedIn

Thank you for clarifying!
It appeared that you were making everything up and that it was really your service - but thank you for confirming that everything in your 'milestone' partnership article and everything on the TopConnectorPro site is actually true after all.
It was rather startling to think that you would risk all of the goodwill you have built up for LinkMommy on an insignificant side venture that appeared to be built on a heap of easily fact-checked lies. Glad to hear that is not so. We will treasure all of our screenshots of everything as a reminder of how wrong we can be. Our apologies.
And in that case, as long as you are not actually the people behind TopConnectorPro nor marketing it to the connections you gained via your membership in our OpenNetworker.com service, our apologies again for the misunderstanding and best of luck with your new partnership.
Thanks!
End of letter. As a first reaction, LinkMommy responded, requested contact information again, and also asked for proof of a letter of apology to all of opennetworker/toplinked members. LinkMommy has not heard back yet. Meanwhile, and because there was major damage done to the reputation of LinkMommy, owners of LinkMommy have initiated an investigation in order to find out who they are, and where they come from. LinkMommy cannot tolerate this degree of damage to its reputation, owners, webmaster, programmers, and affiliates work way too hard to offer an amazing variety of features, services, and values to its members and visitors. Once opennetworker/toplinked owners names and locations are found, legal issues will be addressed. LinkMommy is asking readers of this article, members, affiliates, and any other person to come forward when they know who and where they are. Any help is appreciated.
