INFINITY BRINGS TARGET ITS FIRST FULL LINE OF HOCKEY EQUIPMENT

Coming Mid-October 2009: Affordable Hockey Equipment in 350-plus Target Stores

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN)—Minnesota-based hockey manufacturer, Infinity Hockey, “drops the puck” in the world’s second largest retailer, Target Corporation. Merchandise hits shelves in mid-October, 2009 as Target’s first and only full line of hockey equipment. The 350-plus Target locations were chosen strategically as stores that will represent and service “hockey country,” starting in Minnesota and eventually spreading east to Massachusetts.

Infinity started when a small group of avid Minnesota hockey players took their frustration and drive for better hockey equipment and turned it into a business plan. Lamented by the direction hockey products had taken – often uncomfortable, extremely expensive, and solely designed to meet the technical needs of the pro-caliber player, they came together to make reasonably priced and reliable equipment for any hockey enthusiast who skates for the love of the game.

“In these trying economic times, Target has identified a need for affordable, dependable, and accessible youth hockey equipment,” says Tim Busby, Infinity CEO. “It is our hope to give all kids who want to play hockey the chance to play, period.”
