DePuy investigations widened, more victims
DePuy recall lawyers, patients, and other supporters of victims started more investigations against medical device maker DePuy, a subsidiary of Johnson&Johnson!
Besides ongoing investigations on the DePuy ASR hip devices, a growing number of patients have reported severe problems with the DePuy Pinnacle hip replacement system, a metal-on-metal hip implant that has been linked to early failure, violent pain, dislocations and other complications. All the above may lead to an unparalleled scandal in the medical device industry, if it has not already. Are we about to see similar headlines as “Lead based drywall Made in China”, only this time in form of hip replacements implanted into tens of thousands of people worldwide? Thousands of DePuy hip implant patients never recovered from their surgeries, many underwent one or more revision surgeries. Besides suffering from always present and violent pain, thousands of DePuy hip implant patients experience elevated levels of toxic metals in their bloodstreams that can lead to severe brain damage, heart attacks, strokes, and cancer.
