Twitter's Tweetboard can be used on websites
Tweetboard is a recently published product that let people create a Twitter-powered forum on any website. It is adding additional functionality by releasing a Twitter client, new API, and a URL shortener.
The advantage to Tweetboard is the ability to view discussions as a thread, similar to what you’d find on social bookmark sites like Facebook. Tweetboard threads all replies, and all nested replies -reply to reply- on Twitter. Tweetboard functions just like a web-based Twitter client. Users are able to access the threaded conversations around any Tweet. Also, users are able to Tweet and access your stream from within the Twitter client.
Besides its original name, Tweetboard provides a new URL shortener which is designed to compliment it’s client and site widget, letting people shorten URLs from the client and product. Tweetboard is also releasing an API to allow users to integrate Tweetboard. In addition, a private label service is launched that will let users create a branded Tweetboard widget for their sites.
