Victims of Agent Orange, Veterans Day, LinkMommy.com's Respect
The Veterans Guest House in Reno/Nevada celebrates 15 years of serving veterans and their families Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2009. Activities include the release of orange balloons which is part of a national tribute to victims of Agent Orange. An open house will be held, and also participation in the Veterans Day Parade.
Participants all over the country will release orange balloons simultaneously at 10 a.m. today. All in order to raise awareness of the devastating effects of Agent Orange exposure. Agent Orange is the term used to describe a powerful herbicide and defoliant used most recognizably during the Vietnam War.
The new LinkMommy.com announced earlier this month that they chose victims of Agent Orange as their Charity of the Month of November, and for the second month in a row. Founders and owners of LinkMommy.com have a close relationship to Patrick Sullivan, victim of Agent Orange, Vietnam Veteran, and operator of HarleyRadio.com which features non-stop music 24 hours per day on the internet, and also can be listened to at 96.3 FM in the Salisbury/NC area.
LinkMommy.com new and already popular website provides a column "Charity of the Month" on their website. Donations go directly to a PayPal account for Victims of Agent Orange. Under no circumstances LinkMommy.com collects any funds.
