This is a million dollar question and a truthful answer would be maybe!!!

You are probably saying to yourself this is not a very helpful answer; where is this twit coming from. Well it is probably the best honest answer you will ever get because there are so much variables involved no one can guarantee your success at least no honest person will. The real answer lies in how well informed and prepared you are about the business and at the end of the day how much work did you put in to it.

According to Forbes Magazine close to 80 millions North American will be starting their own business in the next 3 to 5 years, on the other hand it says that 97% of them will fail within 3 to 5 years from starting up.

So what are your chances of success? Pretty slim if you go by Forbes but you can stack the aces in your favor if you know what you are up against and you are ready to do battle.

We all have seen and read those ads telling us how much money we can make running your own online business and how easy it is to do and how little it cost to start…most of these statements are partially true. What they are not telling you is what makes all the difference in you succeeding or failing.

Yes there are people out there making thousands of dollars a week with internet marketing just like the ad claims however what the ad failed to mentioned is that these individuals have been at it for 2 or 3 years backed with another 5 to 10 years of networking marketing before that. It is not an over night success has they claimed.

Is it easy? Some individuals have claimed to have overnight success. No one will tell you how they actually did it because they do not want you to find out the truth. I did do a little digging about one individual claiming such an overnight success and what I found out is this individual had been a successful MLM sponsor with a down line of 15,000 + members below him so when he switched over he had a possible clients list in the tens of thousands, just by contacting his old buddies he was able to switch hundred of them in no time. Yes it is easy to start a new business when you have an existing client base. Most of us are starting with nothing and the hardest part of an online business is to get leads 90% of your time will be spent trying to generate leads.

Is it cheap? True many of the packages being offered are cheap and many are free. The crucial information they seem to forget to tell you is that you will need to promote your site to get lead and that is very costly. Ten years ago you could buy an adword on Google for $0.10 or $0.15 today that same word could cost you as much as $5 to $10 depending on the popularity of the word.

The top money earners have a very large advertising budget to go with their expertise so they can afford to advertise on Google and get the leads. There are plenty of free advertising sites out there the problem with them is they are too popular, your chances of your ad being seen is very low unless you pay to get priority viewing position so they are no longer free but they maybe inexpensive compared to adwords.
As a new business entrepreneur how much can you really spend on advertising to promote your site?

Another little tidbits I have found is that many of the top earners are wealthy because they have multiple income streams, not only are they marketing the products they are trying to get you to work with but they also have either a book, CD or video that they will try to sale you to help you market your site. So that generate more profit for them and feed their marketing budget.

Not everything is gloom and doom here, if you want to increase your chances of success you have to be informed and properly prepared.
If you know what you are up against you can work around it and succeed, 2.4 millions will succeed, there is more then one way on the internet to get what you want when you know what you are doing, if you are clueless you are guaranteed to fail

First you have to stay away from low paying MLM schemes your cost for advertising will exceed you commission payments. Don’t fall for those get rich schemes or the ads that claims you will be making money in no time they don’t work for very long.
Secondly MLM platforms are old school very few are profitable because they have been around too long and you find yourself to low on the income line.
Thirdly look for a direct marketing platform where you make more commission up front then residual income..
Fourth learn how to run a profitable online business before you start it or at least while you are starting it. Top earners will show you 75% of how it is done you need to figure out the other 25% to become a success like them.
Fifth be prepared to work hard online business is highly competitive be ready for battle and do not expect to make big money in a short period of time. In a direct marketing environment you are looking at 3 to 6 months before your income exceed your expenses, be prepare to spend a fair amount of money on promoting your site.

3% of new businesses will succeed that is 2.4 millions will make it, if you want to stack the odds on your side inform and prepare yourself. Surround yourself with successful entrepreneurs just like I did and learn the unwritten rules.

Top tier Marketing or GPT are you familiar with these terms?

Most of you know about MLM (multi level marketing) this system has been around for years and many successful companies have used this platform to sale millions to billions of dollars of product.

Many MLM marketers have also been successful but not too many have been able to sustain the profitable wave for many years. How many of you know some one with a garage full of products they haven’t been able to sale because MLM platform they had build failed apart, you see MLM marketing have a build in failure process and that is called a human, you cannot control the human in your down line. These people are on their own to do whatever they want and if they decide to stop selling the pyramid is broken and your income drops, history has shown that the multiplying effect creates the failure mechanism which happens to all MLM marketer. The MLM marketer who is trying to recruit you to join his down line will never tell you this simply because you would never join his team.

In our community we have several ex-MLM marketers and they will tell you that they actually left a successful business to start a new venture in the top tier business because their success had reached a plateau.

Some of you may have heard that term top tier before but for those who are not familiar with it, it refers to a marketing business were by you get paid a high commission up front rather then small percentages offer several people below you, thus the concept of GPT (get paid today).

The advantage of the top tier platform is that you require a lot less people to sale to, to make more money. Every single top earner will tell you that it take as much work on the internet to sale a $100 item versus a $1000 one. Why? Because the marketing activities are the same for both items the only difference is who you are targeting.

Because of this phenomena there is an increasing number of MLM marketers that are switching over to the GTP program and the reason is very simple: if you sale one item at $100 and make $50 commission while you could be doing the same work and be selling an item at $1000 and make $500 commission… which scenario do you prefer… it’s a no brainer right?
The second advantage with this system is you are in control, you do not depend on any one else to make your paycheck. The small commission you get from the people below you who are selling the same products is a residual income bonus you get for setting them up in business, if they were to stop one day it would not be a major catastrophe because you do not depend on them for your paycheck, you would see a small decrease in pay but it would not affect your living.

With MLM you have to wait for your paycheck while with top tier you get paid as soon as you sale an item… so what would be your preference wait for a stranger to sale an item before you can buy food for the family or get the money out of your bank account the same day you sold the item…again a no brainer.
